Song of the birds

The piece is called The song of the birds. It is a catalonian folk song and and it was played by one of the greatest cellists Pablo Casals from catalonia, at U.N. day in 1971.  Before he played he said,”…birds in the sky are singing, peace, peace, peace. And music that Bach and Beethoven would have loved and admired. The soul of my country”.

I saw the video on youtube and his words and playing deeply impressed me. Especially the phrase ”the birds are singing peace…”  I think he wanted people to think about the peace through those words and his cello playing. He died 2 years after that. So he now can’t play that song for the peace anymore. But it has been many cellists playing the piece since his death. And I also wanted to be a part of them to inherit his message of peace, even though I’m not a catalonian but as a messenger of his soul.

A Jacket bag

For a couple of weeks ago, an idea hit upon me and I felt I had to try it out to see if it works.

So I did that.

The idea was to make a bag from an used clothes. I use to go to second-hand clothes shop to look for some clothes, they sell them for a very low price but most of the items are usually too large. So I almost always can’t find anything to wear. But I thought,
